‘Further’ is a bi-monthly online circle for an intimate group of previous Waymakers who feel the call to go beyond the first pass, deeper into the work and further along the road.
This will be an intimate, well-held space hosted by Asher Packman where we can begin again together. We will re-member the core arc of The Way, taking the themes into richer territory through deeper inquiry, integrated practice and brother-to-brother sharing, with plenty of room for what’s real in our lives right now.
Back in the ‘60s, a gang of mythopoets called The Merry Pranksters travelled across country on a wildly-painted school bus they called ‘Further’. It was a moving experiment in friendship, radical truth-telling and drinking from the deeper well of life. The bus became a symbol of continuing on—not stopping at the first insight but journeying together into the unknown with courage, laughter and more than a touch of the trickster, that sacred curiosity.
In the same spirit, this is an invitation to get back on board, travel in the company of good men, and see what opens up when we keep going.
Enrolment includes access to revised and updated materials from The Way. You must be a current member of The Fifth Direction community to join.
Format: Bi-monthly 90-minute online circle (12 in total)
Duration: 2 years (2026-27)
Investment: $600 (full journey)*
